Quendi Manwathiel is Katarína Baranová, Born in Slovakia in a beautiful small town in the heart of the country called Zvolen. Since 2006 she studies furniture and interior design at the Technical University of Zvolen.

She’s been creating art since her childhood, using different techniques of art. Her journey as psychedelic artist began in the summer of 2010 when she got interested in painting 3D
UV-backdrops. Although she is holding paintbrush for only few months, she already managed to paint backdrops at artistic level some artists only dream of.

Her largest source of inspiration is the nature in all its forms. Via her backdrops she tries to visualize her visions of forest, space and fantasy creatures hidden in it. This explains also her pseudonym: Quendi (goblin).

Her backdrops help to create a magical and mystical atmosphere at the party, where you get lost in time and space, while experiencing a journey through mystical places.

Besides painting backdrops she is also an active jeweller with bright variety of collections.
